Unpasteurized Beverages

Fresh-squeezed juice, unpasteurized cider, and raw milk can contain E. coli, salmonella, or listeria. It's best to only drink pasteurized beverages.

If your juice is unpasteurized, make sure to bring it to a rolling boil and boil for at least one minute before consumption. Also, make sure all homemade ice cream, eggnog, and other dairy products are made with pasteurized milk and eggs. If you aren't sure, it's best to avoid completely.
